RX Audite

I purchased an RX Audite to use with an ANAN SDR that has dual independent receive channels. I had previously attempted to use two other SDR T/R switches from much better known manufacturers. All I can say is that the RX Audite is far superior in concept, design, and manufacture. In particular it is the first switch of this type I have tried that has sufficient transmit isolation that it is transparent in operation, you can switch it on and then it just works perfectly. Five stars recommended!

Now I am - more or less - ready with the installation. My TRX is TS-850 which is switching only the 6-to-1 controller. RJ45 or D-SUB 15 for antenna switching? I selected the D-SUB 15 solution, because this seems for me more robust and the connector can be fixed at the housing with two screws. So, everything works fine. Finally I can say, thank you very much for this nice switching box and the controller. Good work and I will recommend you.

Something to do on a Sunday afternoon while it's raining outside all day. The preamplifier and the BIAS-T are already soldered. Remoteqth.com & QRO.cz kits are always fun to assemble. You could also buy them complete, but that way you also have a sense of achievement. 👍

K9AY++ really ROCKS!

I've been using K9AY++ several weeks now in mediumwave (broadcasting) dxing and my impressions have been only positive. It is always amazing to change the audible stations on the channel by adjusting the direction and resistor knobs. Lots of mediumwave stations from the Far East received so far and this evening at 1700 UTC I received even Australian ABC Adelaide 891 kHz under pressure of Asian stations on the channel. I could never have expected to receive Australian MW-station with K9AY! K9AY++ really rocks!

The beverages work GREAT!!!!!!

No noise on them, but the best was the “diagram”, in my case, if I selected the NA beverage, it eliminates the signals coming from EU, nice F/B of around 20db but better F/S of at least 25/30db!!!!!! Its normal??????? Both of them are about 250m, in the ground just aluminium pipe of around 1m, no radials, the ground was complety wet and mud.

NICE EQUIPMENT!

We used RX Audite throughout CQWW CW and it worked wonderfully. Congratulations! Nice equipment! We use a single SDR RSP1A + CW Skimmer Server + Aggregator. Despite the SDR only working on 3 bands at the same time and the old notebook we didn't notice a loss of performance and the information arrived in great quantity/quality. We had a quality leap in the multiplier hunt. Now let's calmly study what we will do to improve what we already have based on what was observed during the contest.

It all started when I wasn't walking yet and as a toddler I stuck a metal nail in an electrical socket. That charge set my path. At the age of three, when I first picked up a soldering iron, I was able to start implementing my fabulous plans 😊 Thank to my father who worked as an electrician, I had a stock of various old fitted PCBs at home. I was connecting them all and figuring out what they could do 😊

The old tube radios, the glass scales and the smell of the tubes, awakens in me longing for radio waves. Then, when I got a pair of "CB" radios, bought at the market, I was able to expand my reach into transmitting.

Years passed and I got through classic CB and 11m Sub to HF, VHF and UHF. Thanks to ham radio operators in my area, I took the tests and received my OK2ZAW callsign.

Other paths led me through OK2KFK, OL2R to OL7M, where the stage of building a big contest station began and with it the invention of improvements, switching, controlling etc. The result are the products of QRO.cz, which you can find there in our e-shop.
