LAN PRO-FIL 100Mbit protection manual
This is a small protection and filter board for 100 Mbit LAN and passive PoE. The board includes high voltage protection, isolation and filter transformers with low voltage protection. The PoE circuit can be pass-through (LAN-LAN), injector or splitter. PoE also includes surge protection and a set of differential and common mode filters. This board can be mounted on a DIN rail and secured using the brackets supplied.

PoE
The passive PoE circuit can operate with DC voltage up to 60V and current up to 1A. The voltage is applied to pins 4, 5, 7, 8. Where pins 4+5 = + DC, 7+8= - DC.
The board can be used as:
- PoE injector: Voltage is applied to the LAN cable and powers the device at the end - for example, a WiFi link. Blue socket to OUTDOOR
- PoE splitter: Voltage is separated from the LAN cable to power an external device. OUTDOOR to blue socket.
- PoE pass through: Voltage goes through both LAN connectors and is also brought out to the blue terminal block. The connection between the LAN connectors is through protectors and filters. Please check your Jumper settings. These take care of the voltage connection to/from the INDOOR connector - for PoE pass through.
