RX antennas could open you the way to totally new DX world. There is a lot of different RX antennas with different space requirements.

Also, a good preamplifier could be key part, especially at the feed point of the antennas with negative gain. You need to send DC voltage over the coax to this preamplifier, the right hardware is Bias Tee BOX, including protections and variable attenuator.

Common-mode currents degrade your receiving system. Coax cable may work as a part of the receiving antenna and not only the noise may induct into it. Common-mode current choke (CMCC) prevents these effects.

Sometime you need to split signal from one antenna to the more receivers, look at the 2-way and 3-way splitters. Active one eliminates insertion loss of the splitter and internal preamplifier with variable attenuator is able to add some positive gain to the input signal.

RX protection limiter could safe your receiver from strong signal (your TX or multi-transmitter station), wrong coax cable connection (transmit to RX path) or close lightning energy. It also works as CMCC with isolated grounds. With RX Coax match & limiter & CMCC you get three things in one BOX - Matching transformer from 75 to 50 (or 50 to 75) Ohm, RF limiter protection and CMCC.
