3-way RX small splitter manual
The splitter or combiner is a very useful device. It can provide equal voltages, equal current, or equal power to matched or unmatched loads. Like all passive splitters and combiners, this device is less than ideal. Isolation is maximum only when at least one port are properly terminated. In this case isolation between the two splitted/combinated ports is maximum when the main port is properly terminated.
NOTE: This HW is designed only for RX line. Both impedances 50 or 75 Ohm can be selected by the jumper.

Transformers
- There are two long (tr1, tr2) and one short (tr3) binocular ferrites
- All three ferrites have got 2 turns - with bifilar winding
- Clean coating from the ends. Place wires in right order like on the pictures
- Check it again :)
Cut 4 wires (for two long binocular) to about 210mm (21cm) - 0.69 feet
Cut 2 wires (for one short binocular) to about 160mm (16cm) - 0.52 feet
Make bifilar wires - you can use small PVC tube and ACU drill
Transformers
- There is one short (tr4) binocular ferrite
- This ferrite has got total 3 turns by one wire
- Start with two turns, add tap and one turn
- Clean coating from the ends. Place wires in right order like on the pictures
- Check it again :)
Cut 1 wire (for one short binocular) to about 160mm (16cm) - 0.52 feet
