Simply but powerful converter/decoder from BCD data to one of eight. You can use it everywhere you have less wires than you need.
52.00 € (without tax)
This converter/decoder BCD to DEC is a simply but very powerful device. It decode from BCD data to one of eight. You can use it everywhere you have less wires than you need. You need only 4 wires and control up to 8 outputs. You can supply external relays over the BCD data wires. There is universal output driver. You can drive outputs by switching to GND or + Vcc voltage. BCD inputs include RF and high voltage protection.

Manual
If you want to know more please check our wiki with BCD to DEC converter manual.
⚠ This is a version of the BCD decoder with an input control voltage of 9 to 14 V DC. If you want a BCD decoder with a lower input voltage (for example, OM power ANT-BPF port), choose the BCD to DEC TTL converter or BCD to 16 version.
Matrix table for inputs and outputs
Connection example 1
- without external power voltage wire
- less wires
- for fat wires or smaller distance
Connection example 2
- with external power voltage wire
- one more wire
- BCD wires can use smaller voltage > 9 V
- for longer distance
Output 0 to 8
- compatible with MFJ antenna switch
- easy to set by jumper
Output driver
- universal outputs - switching to GND or + voltage
- easy to se by jumper
- easy to replace driver ULN (- out) / TBD (+ out)
Example with 6-to-1
- need four (five) wires between controller and BCD to DEC converter
- GND, (+12V) and three control wires
- output must be with TBD driver (+ out)
Example with 4-to-1
- need three (four) wires between controller and BCD to DEC converter
- GND, (+12V) and three control wires
- output must be with TBD driver (+ out)
This is a specially designed board to protect up to 8 DC control wires. The connection between the control box and the equipment outside (on the mast) can be dangerous - due to storms a potential difference can easily occur or voltage can be induced on the control wires. This phenomenon is dangerous and it is necessary to safely discharge this voltage to a common earth potential.
