MALACHITE V5 SDR receiver IQ data

Malachite V5 is standalone portable SDR receiver in a metal enclosure with a 3,5" 480x320 LCD. The receiver has a frequency range of 10 kHz to 2 GHz with an exception between 250 MHz and 400 MHz. All modulations are supported: AM, SSB, DSB, CW, NFM and WFM.

There is USB-C port for charging and this port allows also great PC features. There is CAT for tunning control, IQ data for PC software and SDR Audio.

There are some notes how to use Malachite V5 SDR IQ data out with external PC SDR software.

After connecting the SDR to the PC via USB, the drivers should be automatically installed. The Serial port and several audio devices will be installed. The serial port serves as CAT. The audio devices transmit the audio signal and IQ data. In some cases, however, Windows disables these devices and you must enable them.

You have to open Sound Devices Managed in Windows and Enable the Malahit sound devices (Malahit spectre – IQ). Now you are able to select this device as a IQ sound input in PC SDR software:
