This is the indoor version of the popular RF switch six to two. The indoor version - IND-I - means that it is not waterproof and includes a fan with a dust filter. This version has a redesigned RF PCB with improved parameters. The overall design has been modified so that the switch can be easily disassembled for inspection or repair. The switch consists of an RF PCB, a shielding spacer, and a board with protective FiFo logic, BCD inputs, and RFI filters.
The switch can be used to switch six antennas to two TRX - SO2R, switch filter banks, or switch six TRX to two outputs. The modified version allows a frequency range up to 70 MHz. The control is classic, i.e., 2x6 control wires, or BCD, or a combination of both. In the case of BCD control, a wide range of control voltages can be used.
The protection board also provides FiFo switching – First In, First Out. This means that whoever selects the port first gets to use it, and the second person cannot select it. The protective plate includes an LED indicator for easy control and function monitoring.
The Triplexer version is slightly different from the Classic version. There, small dummy loads are connected to three ports: 1, 3 and 5. These are 5 W resistors with an impedance of 50 ohms. In addition, they feature unique protection against overheating and disconnection at high power. The other ports are connected to GND.
The ports with dummy loads can be used to connect a diplexer or triplexer. The unused ports of there filters are loaded with a characteristic impedance of 50 ohms to ensure their parameters.
The switch includes a fan and dust filters. Since the switch is expected to be placed in an enclosed space where temperatures may be higher, it is recommended not to disconnect the fan. Especially at higher power levels and in digital modes, the relay may heat up.

- BCD inputs wide range 3 to 15 V DC
- BCD data format is 1 to 6
- BCD inputs with positive control compatible with OM-power, Microham. Pull up for open collector - image
- DC supply voltage is recommended 13.8 V
- DC supply current up to 0.4 A
- Fan with lower speed
- Dust filters
Isolation example
- TRX A output power 1 kW =1,341 k 60 dBm
- Isolation to port B is 80 dB → 60 dM - 80 dB = -20 dB
- ~10 UW at TRX port B
⚠ DO NOT forget to
- Isolation between antennas!
- The safe power isolation is not only about the switch isolation!
- Never switch relay during TX!
- Use high quality RF connectors and coax cables. The shielding of coaxial cables has a significant impact on insulation and potential interference.
Connection
- You can use 2 x 6 + GND = 13 wires (12 to 15 V DC)
- You can use 2 x BCD (TTL) + GND + 13.8 V = 8 wires
- You can use 2 x BCD (> 13 V) + GND = 7 wires
- Combination: one port 6 wires, second BCD
