Description

The Malahit SDR2 is a very robust receiver in a metal housing, based on SDR. This means that most of the functions are handled by software. It is therefore possible to add more features and upgrade the receiver you have purchased. This is version with firmware 2.4.

It operates in the frequency range 10kHz to 380 MHz, 404 MHz to 2GHz. It supports classical modulations such as AM, SSB, DSB, CW, NFM and WFM, but also FT8, RTTY. It can display spectrum in 48kHz, 96kHz and 192kHz width. Includes two antenna inputs, one with 50Ohm impedance and the other with High Impedance. It also includes a Bias Tee power supply, has a built-in preamplifier and a large 5000mAh lithium-ion battery. SDR features include many DSP functions: NR, NB, ANF, stereo FM with RDS and more. The new FW also includes a CW decoder function.

The display is on a high quality IPS touch screen with a diagonal of 3.5 inches.

The USB port allows connection to a PC with CAT support, IQ data output and audio. You can use popular SDR softwares and transfet CAT and IQ data from SDR receiver to PC. There you can use more SDR SW features!

Technical articles

The receiver can be connected to a PC. Both CAT and IQ data can be transferred via USB. This makes it possible to synchronise the SDR with another receiver, operate it with another PC SDR program and use other functions.
