This is a switchable attenuator for SDR receiver. A cascade of 100W ATT power chips allows you to adjust the insertion loss from 0 to 21 dB, in 3 dB steps. This box contains two such attenuators with manual and remote control options. There is an LED indication on the front panel. The rack-mount box also includes a redundant DC/DC converter for 24 V DC power supply.

This set of two attenuators is designed for example for wideband SDR receivers. These receivers can be overloaded with strong stations when listening to a large bandwidth and depending on the time of day. Thanks to the use of power ATT chips, they can withstand even short-term overloads. Additional protections block electrostatic voltage and overvoltage. An external remote control can be used to change the attenuation value remotely and also automatically.
