This is a modular RX splitter designed to split the RX antenna into 1 + 36 outputs. Amplifiers can be added as required to compensate for insertion loss. The splitter is designed for rack mounting.

The input signal passes through a simple 2MHz HPF and surge protectors. It is further split by a 2-way splitter and passes through a 30MHz LPF filter to the first output at -3.5dB level. The second path is further split and fed into two 3-way splitters. The outputs are routed to the panel, where an amplifier can be inserted to compensate for the attenuation of the other 6-way splitter. This combination gives a total of 6x and 36 outputs. Without the amplifier, the attenuation of the splitter from the input to any of the 36 ports is approximately 20 dB. Each splitter has its own overvoltage protection.
The internal interconnection of the modules is via Teflon coaxial cables with SMA connectors. The design allows for easy repair or replacement of the modules.
